The Benedict Silverman Foundation promotes excellence and equity in American K-12 public schools by supporting research-based literacy instruction. I have partnered with BSF to design materials for both their Reading Rescue and Reading Ready program.
Reading Ready is an emergent word reading program developed by Dr. Katharine Pace Miles, a professor of early literacy development at Brooklyn College, CUNY. Reading Ready helps readers with fundamental literacy skills (like letter and phoneme awareness).
